Drywall Screws
Drywall Screws are self tapping screws with a flat bugle head used for attaching plasterboard, drywall, gypsum board or sheetrock to wooden or metal studs. They are very versatile and commonly used in sheetrock, wood, plastics and particleboard applications. Sharp point Phillips Drywall screws feature a twinfast, self-tapping thread and an extra sharp point for fast and easy installation. Sharp Point Drywall Screws are commonly used for attaching sheet rock to wooden studs or metal studs 25 – 20 gauge thick. Longer sizes feature a shoulder beneath the head of the screw and are ideal for insulation or multiple layers of sheet rock.

Machine Screws
A machine screw is a screw or bolt with a flat point. Available in a variety of drive styles, machine screw sizes, heads and materials to fit a wide range of application needs. These fasteners are either used with nuts or driven into tapped holes. In practice, machine screw sizes tend to be smaller. Pan head, flat head, oval head and truss head stove bolts are the most popular varieties.

Roofing Screws & Nails
Roofing nails feature wide, flat heads for an increased bearing surface with diamond points and smooth shanks for ease of penetration. They are used in a wide variety of roof installations and other applications such as: installing shingles, roofing felt for waterproofing, roof tiles, sheet metal, slate, straps, gutters, and leaders as part of rain gutter systems, fascia installations, furniture restoration, flashing, and planked wooden boat construction. Used in outdoor environments, roofing nails are typically resistant to the corrosive elements of nature.

Self Drilling Screws
Self Drilling Screws are used primarily when fastening into steel or other metals and are typically used to join materials like sheet metal. These screws are identified by the unique point or flute at the end of each screw. Self Drillers are used to save time and effort, because they eliminate the need to drill a pilot hole, tap it, and then install the screw.

Sheet Metal Screws
Sheet metal screws have sharp threads, sometimes referred to as self cutting or self threading screws, that cut into sheet metal, such as aluminum, plastic or wood. Some sheet metal fasteners are classified as Type 17 Point, these screws are notched at the tip to aid in chip removal during thread cutting. Sheet metal screws as also known as self tapping screws because they self tap into the material they are being screwed into. Self driller cutting points, also known as TEK screws available in TEK 2, 3, 4 and 5, pierce through 20 to 14 gauge metals. The higher the TEK number the larger the drill point to pierce heavier gauge metals.

Button Head Socket Cap Screw
A button socket cap screws head driven with a socket wrench, button socket cap screws stainless steel fasteners are clean heads with no stamping or marking for a nice clean finished look. A button socket cap screw, also known as a button socket head cap screw, socket screw or Allen button socket bolt, is a type of cap screw with a cylindrical head and hexagonal drive hole. The term button socket head cap screw typically refers to a type of threaded fastener whose head diameter is nominally 1.5 times or more that of the screw shank (major) diameter.

Flange Button Head Socket Cap Screw
Built-in washer, the wide flange keeps the screw head from crushing thin or soft materials. Screws are fully threaded and have a Class 3A thread fit. Head height is measured from the bottom of the flange to the top of the head. Screw length is measured from under the flange. Note: Button head screws are not recommended for high strength applications.

Flat Head Socket Cap Screw
A flat head socket cap screw is driven with a socket wrench and has an undercut of 82 degrees. A flat socket cap screw, also known as a flat socket head cap screw, socket screw or Allen flat socket bolt, is a type of cap screw with a cylindrical head and hexagonal drive hole. The term flat socket head cap screw typically refers to a type of threaded fastener whose head diameter is nominally 2 times or more that of the screw shank (major) diameter.

Socket Cap Screw
A socket cap screw is a stainless steel fastener driven with a socket wrench, and are knurled. A socket cap screw, also known as a socket head cap screw, socket screw or Allen socket bolt, is a type of cap screw with a cylindrical head and hexagonal drive hole. The term socket head cap screw typically refers to a type of threaded fastener whose head diameter is nominally 1.5 times or more that of the screw shank (major) diameter.

Grub Screw
Grub Screws are blind (headless) fasteners with an internal hex drive. It is this drive style that classifies stainless steel screws in this selection as set screws, which are driven by a hex bit or Allen wrench. Grub Screws are used in a tapped hole and tightened to hold an exterior object in place within or against another object, via friction between the point or end of the screw and the material that is being fastened.

Thread Cutting Screw
Thread Cutting screws feature a thread cutting tip which makes threads in existing or pre-drilled holes. They provide a tight fit and high resistances to torque, shear, and tension when applied. Generally used for making threads in metal and wood, thread cutting screws do not generate the same stress as thread forming screws.

Wood Screw
Wood screws are screws that are designed for wood to wood applications. With large cutting threads and a smooth shank near the head, wood screws are designed to cut threads into the wood and slide through the top piece of wood pulling it firmly against the board beneath. These screws come with a sharp point. In some instances, they have a self-drilling point which is a notch cut out of the screw to allow chipping to occur.
