Hexagonal head bolt
Though hex bolts go by many names the characteristic that they all share is a hexagonal head, designed to be driven by a wrench. They all are commonly referred to as both bolts and screws. They are unique because of the threading. These bolts are partially threaded with a shoulder beneath the head. Tap Bolts are fully threaded up to the hexagonal head. The unique characteristic of a hex bolt is the design of the head, from which they get their name.
- Standard: Din 931, Din 960, ISO 4014, ISO 8765
- Diameter: M 3 – M 42, ¼” to 1”
- Length: 20 – 300 mm, 3/8” to 9”
- Material: Alloy, stainless steel
- Finish: Zinc trivalent, hexavalent, HDG, blackening
Flange Bolt
Flange bolts have hexagonal heads, designed to be driven by a wrench. The unique characteristic of a flange bolt is the design of the head, from which they get their name. The “flange” of the bolt is a built in (integral) washer. In Imperial sizes, this washer is serrated to act as a lock washer.Flange bolts are available in both full thread and partial thread varieties. The threading depends upon the lengths of the bolt. Partially threaded flange bolts have a shoulder, and fully threaded flange bolts are threaded to the underside of the flanged head.

Metric Hex Bolts
Metric hex bolts are available in quality grade A2 stainless steel or zinc plated steel. All hex bolts have a hexagonal head designed to be driven by a socket or a wrench. We offer metric hex cap screws, metric tap bolts and metric hex flange bolts.

Allen Cap Head Bolts
The Allen Bolt we stock are extensively used in the mechanical industry and in heavy engineering works. These nuts do not loosen up under the action of torque and vibrations and provide locking actions by deforming elastically. We use superior quality mild steel as raw material for the manufacturing of the Allen Bolt which provide them strength, durability and excellent grip. All the nuts are electroplated by the process of galvanization so as to prevent them from oxidation

Threaded Rods
Thread Rod is widely accepted as the fastest and preferred method of economically producing uniform smooth, precise threads of superior physical qualities. This process is also capable of performing non-threading operations such as burnishing, knurling and rolling of helical and annular grooves of various forms.Thread Rod utilizes hardened steel rolls to produce external threads. The working surfaces of the rolls have a thread form, which is the reverse of the thread to be produced.

Carriage Bolt
A carriage bolt has a domed or countersunk head and the shank is topped by a short square section under the head of the bolt. The square section grips into the part being fixed, preventing the bolt from turning when the nut is tightened. Carriage bolts are often used to fasten wood panels or board to masonry or to one another. The square shank of the bolt allows it to lock into place when inserted into a round hole in wood or a square hole in a metal strap, the unthreaded square shank pulls into the wood creating a tight connection.

Square Head Bolts
Square Head Bolts are similar to Hex Cap screws but have a 4-sided square head instead of a 6-sided hexagonal head. The square head enables an easier wrench grip for tightening and a larger bearing area for gripping. They are commonly referred to as both bolts and screws and are designed to be driven with a wrench. Square Head Bolts are partially threaded with a shoulder beneath the head.

Shoulder Bolts
Shoulder Bolts are machine screws with a shoulder between the thread of the screw and the head of the part. Once installed, the non-threaded shoulder extends out of the surface of the application site, allowing the bolts to act as dowels, shafts for moving parts, axles or guides for sliding pieces of an assembly. They can be installed by hand, or with a socket (Allen) driver.

Plow Bolts
Plow bolts are like carriage bolts but have a flat head that sits flush once installed. They have this flat head because they are commonly used where a domed head would be exposed. The flat head deters wearing and allows the bolt to last longer on the scouring surface (area where the head of the bolt would be exposed to high wear). They can be removed by taking the nut off the bolt.

Full Thread Bolts
Tap Bolts, commonly referred to as hex tap bolts are hex head bolts with a full thread (tip to underneath head) regardless of the bolt length. Hex Tap Bolts differ from Hex Cap Screws in that Hex Cap Screws fully threaded in shorter lengths (usually around up to 1-1/4 inch, depending upon the bolt diameter), and partially threaded with a shoulder beneath the fastener hex head in longer lengths.

Nuts
Hex nuts are used for many fastening applications. These nuts are often used with screws and bolts when mechanically joining materials together. If the size of the screw that you are using is smaller than 1/4-20 (ex 8-32 or 10-24) you should be using and searching for hex machine screw nuts. Hex nuts start at size 1/4-20 and go all the way up to 1-1/4″, they are available in fine thread and coarse thread.
